TIFF Viewer for Google Chrome™: A Detailed Review

As the digital world continues to evolve, the demand for browser tools such as chrome extensions is ever-increasing. Among the top chrome extensions , one that has been creating a buzz lately is the TIFF Viewer for Google Chrome™. Although, unlike the popular youtube to mp3 converter or the pdf converter chrome extension , this particular utility has stirred mixed responses among users.

Understanding the Utility

TIFF Viewer for Google Chrome™ is presented as a solution for viewing TIFF files online conveniently and instantly. It eliminates the need to download and install any desktop software. However, its aggregate rating stands at a dismal 2.07 out of 5, indicating user dissatisfaction.

Highlights from User Reviews

Several users like Adam Priest and Gregory M. Piper have reported functional issues, stating that the tool does not work as advertised. For instance, the extension fails to show more than the first page of a lengthy document, making it inconvenient for users who need to go through entire documents. Similarly, others like Carolyn Geraci and Canaana bolaanan have pointed out that the files opened are hard to read and cannot be saved.

On the other hand, a user named Ming Xi expressed contentment with the tool, counter questioning the low ratings. Brenna Llewellyn also found it working but criticized the tool for its inability to handle more than one photo at a time.

Final Verdict

Considering user reviews and the overall rating of the extension, it appears that the TIFF Viewer for Google Chrome™ falls short of expectations. Most of the users found it difficult to use or ineffective. Thus, it might be a better idea to look for other alternatives if you frequently need to convert web pages to pdf or view TIFF files online.

We hope this review helps you make an informed decision. Remember, the digital world is abundant with tools and utilities, and sometimes it takes a bit of trial and error to find the one that fits your needs best.

I tried dragging and dropping a .tif file and opening directly "From you PC" and neither option worked. Tried multiple times with no result. Didn't work for me. By the way, what's up with the grammatical errors, it's like someone who doesn't know English created the extension.
